Earthlings is a satirical news magazine from the perspective of aliens reporting on Earth. We wanted to show how strange we, as humans, are through an outside perspective. The texts within the article are not the most up-to-date topics - they serve more to show what we as humans have been up to over the last 2-6 months. There are also some humorous articles about specific, fictional humans. We chose to trust our audience to infer the difference.

Three related typefaces and different colour schemes represent three themes of article: more factual or scientific news, things that are strange of unbelievable, and situations in which we can laugh at ourselves. We also created an alien alphabet to add a bit of strangeness, but ultimately break the fourth wall by acknowledging that this magazine was made and published by humans, so readable to them.
